Padgett Business Services provides small businesses with financial consulting and support: tax consultation and preparation, financial reporting, complete payroll services and business advice. These are services which all businesses need, and which many small business owners cannot provide for themselves.
As a Padgett Business Services Sales Representative, you will meet with local business owners and operators to explain our products and services. You will not be expected to service accounts, that will be done by our accounting and tax professionals. Your job is to qualify prospects and close the sale!

A typical day on this job will include both pre-call marketing activities and meetings by appointment. We do not make cold calls, instead we use direct mail and other media to create name recognition, and to begin the process of explaining our products and services. You will manage this entire process: selecting targets from our database of small businesses, executing a series of mailings, calling to set an appointment and then working to close the sale. You will use state-of-the-art CRM software to manage your contacts and schedule.
Your compensation will be a combination of base salary, commission and bonus — including a bonus on every new customer you develop! We believe that $40,000 is a very reasonable first year earning's expectation, and the long-term potential is significantly higher.
We do not require previous sales experience, but would consider it a plus. We're more interested in your intelligence and work ethic.
